Daniel's Plumbing & Son

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 31, 2026

Welcome to the website of Daniel’s Plumbing & Son (“Daniel’s Plumbing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website. By visiting this website, submitting an online form, requesting plumbing service, scheduling an appointment, or communicating with us through the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree with them, please do not use this website.

Website Use

This website provides general information about Daniel’s Plumbing & Son, our plumbing services, service areas, business locations, and ways to contact or request service from our team.

You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

You agree that you will not:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems

  • Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the website

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technology

  • Use automated tools to copy, scrape, or collect website content without permission

  • Use the website to harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm another person

  • Use the website in violation of any applicable law or regulation

We may restrict or block access to the website when we reasonably believe a user has violated these terms or created a security risk.

Plumbing Services

Daniel’s Plumbing & Son provides plumbing, drain, sewer, water heater, leak detection, fixture installation, gas line, emergency plumbing, and related services.

The services available in a particular area may vary based on:

  • The customer’s location

  • The type and condition of the plumbing system

  • Technician availability

  • Equipment and material availability

  • Licensing or permit requirements

  • Property access

  • Safety conditions

  • The scope of the requested work

Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes. It is not a diagnosis, inspection report, final estimate, or guarantee that a specific service will correct a particular plumbing problem.

A plumbing issue may require an on-site inspection before we can determine its cause, recommended solution, price, or expected completion time.

Website Terms and Service Agreements

These Terms & Conditions apply primarily to your use of our website.

Plumbing work performed by Daniel’s Plumbing & Son may also be governed by a separate written estimate, work order, invoice, service agreement, warranty, financing agreement, or other document.

When a signed or accepted service document conflicts with these website terms, the service document will control with respect to the plumbing work described in that document.

Nothing on this website changes or replaces the specific terms of an estimate, work order, invoice, or written warranty issued to a customer.

Online Booking and Service Requests

Submitting an online form, requesting an appointment, or selecting an available booking time does not guarantee that an appointment has been confirmed.

An appointment is confirmed only after Daniel’s Plumbing & Son:

  • Contacts you to confirm it

  • Sends a confirmation message

  • Provides a confirmed date or arrival window

  • Otherwise expressly accepts the appointment

Requested dates and times are subject to technician availability, travel conditions, existing appointments, emergencies, and other operational factors.

We may contact you to request more information, offer a different appointment time, or explain that a requested service is unavailable.

Emergency Service Requests

Online forms, emails, social-media messages, and booking tools may not be monitored at all times.

For an urgent plumbing issue, please call the nearest Daniel’s Plumbing & Son location directly:

Long Beach: (562) 577-5249
San Diego: (619) 820-1241

If you smell gas, suspect a gas leak, see fire or smoke, experience flooding that threatens personal safety, or face another immediate danger, leave the affected area when safe and contact the appropriate utility provider or emergency service.

Website content is not a substitute for emergency assistance.

Estimates and Pricing

Prices, price ranges, coupons, discounts, and estimates shown on this website are general unless expressly identified as a final written price.

Final pricing may depend on factors such as:

  • The results of an on-site inspection

  • The cause and extent of the plumbing problem

  • Required labour

  • Required materials, fixtures, or equipment

  • Property and work-area accessibility

  • Plumbing-system condition

  • Permit and code requirements

  • After-hours or emergency service

  • Additional problems discovered during the work

  • Changes requested by the customer

A website price or verbal price range should not be treated as a final quote unless Daniel’s Plumbing & Son confirms it in writing.

We will communicate material changes to an approved scope of work or price when required before performing additional work.

Diagnostic, Dispatch, and Service Fees

Certain appointments may involve a diagnostic fee, dispatch fee, inspection fee, minimum service charge, cancellation fee, or other charge.

When applicable, these fees may be disclosed:

  • During appointment scheduling

  • In an appointment confirmation

  • In a written estimate

  • Before work begins

  • On a work order or invoice

A fee for diagnosis, dispatch, inspection, or travel may be due even when the customer decides not to approve the recommended repair, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Payments

When payment is accepted through our website or a third-party payment processor, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment information.

You authorize Daniel’s Plumbing & Son and its payment service providers to charge the amount you approve, including any applicable taxes or agreed fees.

Depending on the work, we may require:

  • Payment after service is completed

  • A deposit before work begins

  • Progress payments

  • Payment for ordered materials

  • Payment at the time of scheduling

  • Another payment arrangement stated in writing

Payment terms for specific plumbing work will be stated in the applicable estimate, work order, invoice, or service agreement.

You are responsible for charges caused by declined payments, reversed payments, chargebacks, or returned cheques to the extent permitted by law and stated in the applicable service documents.

Financing

Financing may be offered through an independent third-party financing company.

Financing approval, interest rates, payment schedules, credit decisions, fees, and account terms are determined by the financing provider, not Daniel’s Plumbing & Son.

Daniel’s Plumbing & Son does not guarantee that a customer will qualify for financing.

Any financing arrangement is subject to the separate terms and privacy practices of the financing provider.

Coupons, Offers, and Promotions

Coupons, discounts, and promotional offers may be subject to:

  • Expiration dates

  • Service-area limitations

  • Minimum purchase requirements

  • Equipment or service restrictions

  • New-customer restrictions

  • Availability

  • Other terms stated with the offer

Offers have no cash value and may not be combined unless expressly stated.

A coupon or promotion must generally be presented before the estimate is approved or work begins.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue an offer at any time, subject to applicable law. An offer already accepted as part of a signed service agreement will be handled according to that agreement.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

A cancellation or missed-appointment fee may apply when:

  • A fee was disclosed during scheduling

  • The customer cancels without the required notice

  • No authorized adult is available at the property

  • The technician cannot safely or reasonably access the property or work area

  • Special materials or equipment were ordered for the appointment

Any applicable cancellation terms will be communicated during scheduling or included in the relevant service documents.

Daniel’s Plumbing & Son may cancel or reschedule an appointment because of emergencies, technician availability, severe weather, unsafe conditions, equipment issues, travel delays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customer Responsibilities

When requesting or receiving service, you agree to provide accurate information about:

  • Your name and contact details

  • The service address

  • The plumbing issue

  • Known hazards or unsafe conditions

  • Previous repairs or relevant system history

  • Property access

  • Ownership or authorization to approve work

You are responsible for making sure that an adult who is authorized to approve work and payment is available during the appointment.

You must provide safe and reasonable access to areas that may be needed for inspection or service, including:

  • Plumbing fixtures

  • Water heaters

  • Shutoff valves

  • Cleanouts

  • Sewer access points

  • Crawl spaces

  • Attics

  • Garages

  • Utility areas

  • Electrical panels

  • Exterior work areas

You are responsible for securing pets, moving fragile or valuable items, and informing our team of known hazards before work begins.

We may decline, pause, or stop work when conditions are unsafe, access is inadequate, required authorization is unavailable, or the requested work would violate applicable law or code requirements.

Property Access and Authorization

By requesting service at a property, you represent that you are:

  • The property owner

  • A tenant with proper authorization

  • A property manager

  • An authorized representative

  • Otherwise legally permitted to request and approve the work

You are responsible for obtaining any required approval from the property owner, landlord, homeowners’ association, property manager, or other authorized party.

Daniel’s Plumbing & Son may request proof of authorization before beginning work.

Permits, Inspections, and Code Requirements

Certain plumbing projects may require permits, inspections, testing, or work that meets current building and safety codes.

Permit responsibility and associated fees will be handled according to the applicable estimate, work order, or service agreement.

Code requirements may affect the recommended scope, cost, equipment, materials, or completion schedule.

Unless expressly stated in writing, a website description or estimate does not guarantee that existing plumbing outside the approved scope of work complies with current codes.

Work Conditions and Hidden Problems

Plumbing systems may contain conditions that cannot be identified until access is created, equipment is removed, lines are opened, or work begins.

Examples may include:

  • Corrosion

  • Concealed leaks

  • Damaged piping

  • Improper prior repairs

  • Blocked or collapsed lines

  • Water damage

  • Mould or microbial growth

  • Asbestos or hazardous materials

  • Structural damage

  • Code violations

  • Inaccessible connections

  • Defective fixtures or equipment

When an unexpected condition changes the recommended work, cost, or schedule, we may pause the work and provide additional information or a revised estimate.

Additional work will require customer approval when required by law or the applicable service agreement.

Service Results and Warranties

Daniel’s Plumbing & Son works to provide professional plumbing service and quality workmanship.

However, website content does not guarantee:

  • A specific repair result

  • Permanent correction of every plumbing issue

  • That a blockage or leak will not return

  • A specific completion time

  • A particular level of system performance

Plumbing systems can be affected by age, corrosion, misuse, tree roots, soil movement, water quality, pressure, improper installation, hidden damage, and other conditions outside our control.

Any warranty that applies to plumbing work will be stated in the relevant written estimate, invoice, service agreement, or warranty document.

Manufacturer warranties are provided by the applicable manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms, exclusions, registration requirements, and claim procedures.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
