In 1991, Daniel Ochoa Sr. made a decision that would define the company for decades to come. After spending six years working as a plumber, he had seen firsthand how customers and employees could be treated when profits became more important than people. Rather than accept that as the standard, he chose to build a company around something different: respect, integrity, and honest workmanship.

The business didn’t begin with a fleet of trucks or a large team.

It started with one van, one helper, and a commitment to do every job the right way.

Those early years weren’t easy. Building a customer base in the early 1990s required persistence, hard work, and earning trust one household at a time. Every satisfied customer became another reason someone else picked up the phone.

That approach still guides every decision today.

As Daniel’s sons, Richard and Steve, joined the company, the name evolved into Daniel’s Plumbing & Son. The change reflected more than a growing business. It represented the continuation of the standards their father worked so hard to establish.

They grew up learning the trade alongside him, but they also learned something even more valuable: your reputation is built one customer at a time, and trust can disappear the moment honesty does.

Today, every technician is expected to uphold those same principles in the way problems are investigated, solutions are explained, and customers and their properties are treated.
